Jennifer A. Simon
Ms. Simon earned her BA and graduated from Stetson University. She continued her education earning her JD at Stetson College of Law. Prior to joining Barr Murman and Tonelli, Ms. Simon was employed by American International Companies (AIG) to supervise one of its first personal lines Staff Counsel Offices in the country. During her three year tenure there, she supervised 5 attorneys in both their Tampa and Orlando offices while maintaining her own case load. She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s office in 1993 where she spent 6 years trying over 75 jury trials. Thereafter, she worked as an insurance defense trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company’s Staff Counsel. She next served as Corporate Counsel for the litigation department of FCCI Insurance Company in Sarasota, Florida where she acted as counsel to the Claims Department and oversaw the work of panel counsel in 13 different states. Ms. Simon is a member of The Florida Bar Association.
